It’s time we stop pointing fingers at our neighbors and start blaming the real culprits for the division in this country: politicians and the media. They want us divided. They need us divided. And we keep falling for it.
Politicians Thrive on Division
Politicians don’t care about you. They don’t care about your struggles. They care about one thing: power. And the easiest way to keep power? Keep the people fighting each other. If we’re too busy calling each other names, we won’t have time to hold them accountable for their failures. They use fear and outrage to keep us distracted while they continue their self-serving agendas.
If you don’t agree with the right, you’re suddenly a socialist or a communist, “unpatriotic” and trying to destroy America. If you don’t agree with the left, you’re labeled a racist, a homophobe, a womanizer, or a fascist. None of it is true, but these labels serve one purpose: to keep us from talking to each other and finding common ground. Because if we actually united, politicians on both sides would be in trouble.
The Media Lives Off Chaos
The media doesn’t report the news anymore—they manufacture it. They don’t care about facts; they care about ratings. And what gets ratings? Outrage. Conflict. Fear. Keeping us divided keeps us tuning in, clicking, and arguing. They manipulate headlines, twist narratives, and make sure we stay angry at each other instead of questioning their credibility.
Fox News wants you to believe one thing. CNN wants you to believe another. But here’s the truth: they all have an agenda. And that agenda is making money off our division.
We Have the Power to Change This
Politicians and the media will keep playing their game as long as we let them. The only way to break the cycle is to wake up and see what’s really happening. Stop buying into the nonsense. Stop letting them control the conversation. Stop letting them dictate who you should hate. Demand better from our leaders. Demand honesty from the media. And most importantly—start talking to each other again.
We’re not each other’s enemies. The real enemies are the ones profiting off our division. It’s time to stop playing their game and take back control.
Enough is enough.
